CHRISTMAS.
I'm well excited! For one I get to go home for 3 whole weeks which is going to be so excellent. I haven't seen some of my friends in like 3 months which has been kind of hard at times. I can't wait to see everyone!
And then there's just the general aceness of christmas :D Love it. Christmas Day is a total anti-climax but I still look forward to it. I live in hope that one day my parents will use their initiative! :) But it'll also just be nice to be with my family again. It's not normal anymore so I'm wellll looking forward to it. ^ ^
I'm so happy with my life right now. I love my work, I love my friends in Swansea and my friends back home, I think I'm over one guy and into a new one and just yeh. Big smiles.
I'm in such a good mood at the moment. Decorated 2 Chistmas trees for the ward today! They look prettyful :) And how can decorating a tree and glittery ornament thingys fail to make you happy!? I also got a mega cute card from a patient which I thought was really sweet of him to do! :)
Oh it's been a good day. I feel accomplished lol.

It's like 20 to 1 and it's now the 2nd of December and I'm so happy about that. I love December. I refuse to do anything proper Christmassy before December so now that it's December and I've cracked open the first door on my advent calender I can do Christmas cards and wrap stuff and buy sherry and be merry. ^ ^
Speaking of advent calenders, mine is epic this year. It's a Doctor Who one wit a big Dalek on it!! And the first day today was cool, it's a chistmassy chocolate (Christmas tree!) and on the flap there's a DW trivia question and you get the answer the next day! Well pleased with that. And it goes up to New Year which I was specifically looking for! Chuffed. ^ ^
So today I made an effort to break out of my increasingly hermit-like tendencies and went upstairs to spend the day with my friends, and it was really ace. :) It would have been easier to spend all day here on my own but it's just not very healty D: We watched a couple of films, got pizza, I had fun. I felt like the crappiest of crap yesterday so a real improvement! I'mma go up tomorrow (after Hannah Montana of course!) and hopefully we'll go the cinema too. Really want to see Enchanted! Cartoon characters come to life :O Amazing or what :D
Uhm, that's pretty much it at the moment. I'm going to see Katie in 2 weeks which I'm SUPER excited about :) And Christmas toooooo. Saw the coca cola truck advert for the first time on Friday and was so stoked! I thought, yay christmasssssss! :D You know it's Christmas when you see that. ^ ^

mmmmm Tuesday night updates. Yay. ^ ^
I'm just TOO excited about going home tomorrow. Can't wait can't wait can't wait! It's been nearly 2 whole months! Gosh. :) I get to see my Mom and my Dad and my brother and Katherine and Rachey and Ellie and Sarah and yayyyyy! :D So very excited.

OMG I've just remembered what I did on the weekend!! TIME TRAVELLED BABY! Oh hell yes. It was so very exciting also! :D Me and Kerry stayed up till 2am and when it turned 2, IT DIDN'T. IT WENT BACK TO 1. OMG. How ace. We're time travellers! Oh, you think I'm joking about how much this thrilled me. Highlight of my weekend! Which probably says more about my social life more than anything actually... :D Don't care though, I travelled back in time! XD
I also bought a yoyo before that. Just you know, by the way. :D I hope it comes tomorrow, it's well ace. It flashes. You know you envy me.

Katie got me addicted to this song by The Rocket Summer called High Life Scenery and I think if I play it anymore my flatmates might forcibly eject me. ^ ^ SPEAKING OF. Got a new housemate today! She's really lovely ^ ^ In the room across from me. She's moved around a bit so hopefully we're not too dreadful and she'll like it here and stay. The only funny thing is that one of my other flatmates has a kitten illegally (- we're not allowed pets) and so everyone in the flat knows but we're keeping it a secret from everyone else. And because this girl has moved around quite a bit we're not telling her Becca has a kitten till we're sure she's staying. LOL. Okay so keeping it a secret from people who don't live here is one thing but for someone who's actually HERE? Not gonna happen if you ask me. I find it dead funny.
We also had 5 fish after like 2 weeks being here. I say we but it wasn't me, I hate the things. ANYWAY. Now we're nearly 8 weeks in and there's only 1 left :S and it's on it's way out too if you ask me. I've already had to flush 2 :(. So I didn't like the things, doesn't mean I wanted to flush them. Kinda traumatic when they die actually. :S

Right so that got long and uninteresting! I'm watching Friends reruns - never get old. Dunno what I'm gonna do after. Ooooo yes I do! I'm gonna pack!! :D Yeh. I know it seems like it's early but I'm in College 11-5 tomorrow and I have other stuff to do in the morning which includes sleeping and lying in :D

So, I haven't updated publicly since May (lol) so thought I should write something to prove I'm not a dead troll or anything :).

Right so, I'm in Swansea in South Wales at University studying Mental Health Nursing. Loving it too ^ ^ so far so good! Living in the student village which is a blast, my block is the coolest :D. Going on placement on the 12th of November which is absolutely terrefying though! I'm well nervous about it! I can't take BP D: Meh. Also got an exam on the 6th - drug calculations... Hmmmm! Well, just gotta revise and take it as it comes. 80% pass rate and only 2 attempts though! I don't even know what I'd do if I got kicked off, haven't even considered a back up plan O_O. God, I better pass!

On the bright side, visiting home next week and CAN'T WAIT! It's gonna be amazing, I get to see a load of my friends that I haven't seen in nearly 2 whole months! And my family. Who I have (surprisingly) missed more than I thought I would. ^ ^

Yeh, it's pretty much down to Katie that my interest in my own journal has been revived lol. I mainly just use the account to post slash and comment other people's. :) I'm a slash fiend what can I say :P Btw, not writing that Waycest anymore. I decided it was crap and was taking way too long and I would never actually finish it and besides, I think someone beat me to it with the idea. OH WELL. No biggy, long live teh Frerard ;)

Big on Mindless Self Indulgence at the moment, they rock. In an electriccy sort of a way. :D I love them, they're original, I can't think of any other band that sounds like them ^ ^ always good. Also realised I haven't listened to MCR properly (like a whole album or for a long period of time) for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages. And that's okay. Sometimes I get so much flak I think it might not be worth it. :S It still is at the moment though :). Not that I've worn my MCR shirts out in public yet here... Is that bad? I kind think it is.

Okay so I need to get dressed and go get pizza and chocolate, woooo! :D Student living ;)

Got to see them last night and I didn't think I would! MEN was so different to Rock City but still amazing and the atmosphere was the same :D I had an amazing time, so much fun, and meeting Katie and Kirsty and Maria was so ace, and new people too! Very cool ^.^ And My Chem were on for like 2 hours which was just really ace. So tired today, its been quite a surreal and unexpected weekend but all worth it XD
And afterwards Frank came out! I wouldn't say I met him as such but he was the other side of the gate signing stuff and I was close. He's so freaking pretty <333 -sigh- he was just signing things. I didn't get anything signed but I just watched :] I didn't want to shove a camera in his face either cos thats so intrusive I think -nods-
